Winter’s nearly at an end and with a fresh season just around the corner, we’re ready for a hot new look. Here are the hair colours upping the style stakes this Spring

Mahogany red

This is the perfect shade for easing out of winter and into warmer summer days. The rich red compliments both pale and darker skin, and the russet undertones enhance your skin’s naturally golden hues, giving you that healthy summer glow. These mahogany red clip in hair extensions are ideal for adding volume to your look, so that you can make the most of your natural hair while enjoying added length and thickness.

Lauren Conrad, Jessica Alba, Blake Lively and Chrissy Teigan are all rocking the ombre trend right now. These light blonde and chestnut ombre looks are two of our faves, but just because the weather’s warmer doesn’t mean you have to avoid darker hues. The uber sexy black and teal ombre, a la Kylie Jenner, is a real show-stopper for a night out, and if you don’t want to commit to the look 24/7, it’s the perfect time to try out some clip in hair extensions.

Salted caramel

We adore this delicious spring shade, which makes us think of carefree days and epic sunsets that signal the beginning of summer. This hue is best suited to gold and honey-hued complexions, like Jessica Biel’s, and works well for both day and night-time looks. It’s an easy shade to incorporate into your existing look, and if your lighter locks have the tendency to appear limp, clip in hair extensions in this gorgeous shade will add that much-needed body and bounce.

Classic blondes

Blonde is the signature shade of summer, and this spring it’s making a comeback in a big way. Golden and caramel blondes play well with olive skin and its green undertones, while amber romance and primrose gold – like we’ve seen on Blake Lively and Ellie Goulding – add an interesting twist to the classic. Many shades of blonde pair well with bronzed, sun-kissed skin, so if your tan is a little diluted after winter, top it up with a good quality faux tan, either bottled or sprayed on. Edgy pastels

Pastels? Edgy? Nope, we’re not kidding. You might be thinking that pastels are only for baby clothes or Stepford wives, but try them out on your hair and you’ll see just how cool they can be. Steel-grey and green-blue hues are big this season, as are pastel pinks and purples, and icy platinum. Read our post on dyeing your hair silver grey to get the look at home – or use platinum clip in hair extensions for a quick fix. Because they’re made from 100% Remy Indian human hair, you can easily dye them any shade, plus you can style them however you like. This means you’ll avoid any damage to your hair caused by bleaching, harsh dyes or heat styling, and you can change your hair colour to suit your mood, your outfit or even the weather!
